About Sabina;

I love you,” she said. “I loved you even before I knew you, but I will not wear your collar and I will not share your throne.

I do not understand,” he said. I had not thought, ever, to see the Ubar as he stood there, looming over this woman, whom he might, did he choose, seize and own, but standing there numb, not understanding.

You do not understand,” said she, “because I am a woman.” He shook his head.

It is called freedom,” she said.

  - Verna, Hunters of Gor

I write Sabina as a character who lives in the world of Gor. She isn't like most panther girls in second life. She isn't here for your rape fantasy, or because I want to be your Mistress. She is here because I am unsatisfied with the quality of the role-play I encounter in Gorean cities - mostly due to the admins of Gorean cities voiding everything in sight, because of the OOC whining of it's players.

Gor has lost it's teeth.

So I left. I outcast myself to a small, remote sim set in the Northern Forests of Gor, because I found it was impossible - given the level of disrespect, lack of appropriate honor and discipline in men - to play a Gorean free woman.

As annoying as the fate of free women is however? It is nothing compared to the issues encountered by so many collared slaves, not treated by slaves -- not only not treated as slaves, but allowed to run-amock or be coddled.. their word taken over the word of free people in circumstances that should be entirely role-played. Things like RP logs being used as evidence in criminal "trials" - as if every Gorean player has completely forgotten what role-play is about.

But it isn't these people I'm most upset with. Ignorance -- even willful ignorance -- is one thing. What angers me the most is complete lack of willingness by free people of the same gender who understand these problems to back eachother up. They're all focused on the hook-up game -- and don't understand the importance of community role-play in Gor.

One huge example of this is the Gorean institution of slavery isn't really Gorean slavery unless someone outside the 1 on 1 relationship dynamic is a slave. Gorean slavery is chattel slavery -- where slaves can be bought, sold, stolen, moved around; they're observable property; the common acknowledgement that the kajira is another human being's property.

Sabina's OOC Opinions:

    - About "Cap-Sluts" (Negative.)

    - About Most Gorean Men (Negative.)

    - About Gor "Evolved" (Negative.)

    - About SL's "Panther Girls" (Negative.)

    - About RP Sex (Positive.)

    - About 'Calling a Mod' (Negative.)

    - About the 'Rights' of 'Slaves'.
